If I was to write in my diary about my teenage Valentine's Day experiences it would look something like this ...

Dear diary,

Well, that sucked.

The end.

Haha.  It was that bad.  I remember getting one card (I actually can't remember getting any others by the way) and it was so crap I can't even remember what it said but it was pretty shite. 

So where do I sit when it comes to Valentine's Day?

Now I think if you want to go all out Valentine's Day or not there is no right or wrong. Some people love it; whilst others don't - it's that simple.  A bit like Christmas. Some love; some hate.  

I think however that any day of the year loving gestures are wonderful.  

Whether that's a post-it stuck on the fridge with a big fat "I fucking love you" smiley face smiley face drawing, a picnic on the beach with a few bubbles or a big old hug then it's important to show people you love them. We're really into that fa sure!
